This project is a 6-story mixed use residential building with approximately 48 small units on a triangular lot in the busy Belltown neighborhood, near the Seattle Center. The street level has commercial space, and underground storage facilities are accessible from the alley.
Fazio Associates designed the streetscape and roofdeck amenity spaces. A generous sidewalk allows for swales and street trees to help treat stormwater interspersed with hardscape to provide fixed and seasonal seating for the commercial spaces, and bike racks. The roofdeck space provides excellent views out to Puget Sound and towards the Space Needle. It features extensive greenroof, raised planters and small trees to frame views and define spaces, an outdoor BBQ area, a firepit with outdoor seating, and a pet park.
